MIS BUNION CORRECTION

MIS BUNION CORRECTION

MIS, or minimally invasive, bunion correction has been around for many years.  New techniques and technology has allowed this procedure to show excellent and reproducible outcomes.  This procedure involves small, less than 1 cm, incisions to correct a bunion deformity.  It allows for the multiplanar correction required in bunion deformities.  Dr. Kennedy has specialized in this technique.  Contact us to see if you are a candidate.

At Dr. Chad Kennedy Orthopedic Surgery our we focus on orthopedic repair and reconstruction surgeries for the whole musculoskeletal system, from repairing complex bone fractures to decompressing damaged nerves.

Once a patient’s condition or injury has been diagnosed, we will discuss all treatment options. Depending on the severity of the condition and the patient’s individual situation, these can include medicine, rehabilitation, nonsurgical injections and procedures, immobilization, and surgery.

Orthopedic surgeries can address and correct problems that occur at birth, through injury or as a result of aging, unexpected personal injury or athletic injuries. Depending on the type of surgery, it may be performed under general or local anesthetics.
